Leo had just started using a new computer at the library. His screen froze halfway through an important email. Panicked, he looked around for a — like the circular arrow he remembered on an old browser.
She pointed to the top of the browser window. "On most computers, the refresh button looks like a little circular arrow 🔄 — usually next to the address bar. Click it, and the page reloads." where is the refresh button
The librarian, Ms. Chen, noticed his confusion. She knelt beside him and said gently: "Refresh buttons can hide, Leo. Let me show you where they live now." Leo had just started using a new computer at the library
"Thank you," he said.
Ms. Chen smiled. "Remember: if you can’t find the button, just press F5 or Cmd+R. And on a phone? Pull down from the top of the screen — that’s your finger doing the refresh." She pointed to the top of the browser window
Then she showed him the keyboard shortcut: on Windows, or Cmd + R on a Mac. "That’s the secret refresh button — faster than any mouse."
Leo pressed F5. The screen flickered, then came back to life. His email reappeared, unsent but safe.
