Jenn and Med raid the farm at dusk. In the barn, they find Leah's phone and a bloodied tarpaulin – but also another girl, Chloe (16) , locked in a root cellar. Chloe whispers that Marcus "got rid of Leah because she was going to talk."

CCTV from the arcade shows Leah getting into a grey BMW the night she disappeared. Using traffic cameras, the team traces the car to a farm outside Grange-over-Sands. The farm owner is Marcus Slater , a former foster carer. Leah lived with him briefly three years ago.

The victim is identified as Leah Sumner , a 22-year-old care leaver who worked at a local arcade and lived in a hostel. Jenn visits the hostel and finds her room ransacked. The manager admits that Leah owed money to a loan shark named Col "The Fish" Farley . the bay s05e03 360p

Jenn and DS Med Kharim track Col Farley to a seafront fish and chip shop (his nickname is ironic – he hates fish). Col admits Leah was behind on payments but swears he didn't harm her. He says someone else was following her – a man in a grey BMW.

Here is the (titled "The Enemy Within" or similar, depending on the source): Jenn and Med raid the farm at dusk

The episode opens with DS Jenn Townsend under immense pressure. The discovery of a young woman's body in the Morecambe Bay tides links back to an unsolved case from three years ago. DCI Manning warns her that if she doesn't get a result in 48 hours, the case will be handed over to the Major Investigation Team.

Meanwhile, Jenn's own family drama escalates. Her son, Conor, is caught shoplifting again, and her ex-husband, Andy, uses it to threaten custody. But the bigger shock: Jenn's father, Billy Townsend , shows up unannounced at her house. He's been out of prison for six months (she didn't know he was released). He asks for money, and when she refuses, he storms off. Using traffic cameras, the team traces the car

Marcus is arrested while trying to flee across the sands. In the back of the police car, he looks at Jenn and says: "You think you're saving them? You can't even save your own daughter." (Jenn has no daughter – he's clearly confusing her with someone else... or is he?)
