Sitka Brother Bear -

He folds his wings and dives.

But if you listen at the edge of the ice, where the land cracks and the water sings, you can still hear him:

Sitka holds him. Spirit to flesh. Brother to brother. sitka brother bear

When dawn breaks over Sitka, Alaska, the eagle circles once. Then twice. Then disappears into the sun.

Sitka screams into the aurora: I am here. I am always here. He folds his wings and dives

Kenai blinks. Bear eyes. Human tears.

"Sitka?"

The name tears through him like a flint knife.
