Inside that wing were 53 trailers loaded with turkeys, hams, and perishable gifts for half the state.
He grabbed the radio. “East wing is live. Send them in.” By midnight, all 53 refrigerated trailers were unloaded, cross-docked, and back on the road. The turkeys were safe.
