She closed the settings. Opened her notes app. And wrote:

She opened Instagram first. Leo’s profile picture was still the same—him on a pier at sunset, smiling like the world owed him nothing and he planned to collect anyway. Her finger hovered over the three dots in the corner.

She scrolled further down the search results. A Reddit thread caught her eye: “Unblocked my ex after 6 months. Regret it instantly. Some doors are closed for a reason.”

Another: “I unblocked him and he never even noticed. That hurt worse than the blocking.”

But Leo was the only one who made her chest hurt.

Settings > Blocked Accounts > Select profile > Unblock
