The episode opens with the team—Hatim, Princess Zarina, and the loyal barbarian Jwala—seeking shelter from a magical storm. They stumble upon a grand, empty palace. Inside, a mysterious woman named Maya (aptly named, meaning illusion) offers them food and rest.
But things turn sour quickly. Maya possesses a cursed mirror that shows the viewer their deepest fear. When Jwala looks into it, he sees Hatim betraying him to save a city.
