It is designed to correct the pitch of monophonic vocal or instrumental lines in real-time or during mixing, similar in concept to Antares Auto-Tune or Celemony Melodyne, but with a simpler, more mechanical sound often associated with the "T-Pain" or "Cher Believe" effect.
