By Friday, Alex was a different developer. His coworkers saw him typing furiously, eyes glued to the screen, never touching the mouse. He opened 12 windows in 8 seconds. He moved a Slack window to workspace 4 and back with a grunt and two key taps.
The windows flickered. The dialog vanished. The tiling reset. He didn't lose a single keystroke of code.
