After weeks of immunity pins, laughter, and the occasional burnt cake, the judges—Gregg Wallace, John Torode, and this season’s guest mentor—finally unsheathed their claws.

The standout here was , who calmly produced silky, golden pasta and a ragù that had John Torode closing his eyes in slow-motion approval. Conversely, pop star Lexi served a dish that Gregg described as “a bit of a muddle, love” — the polite kiss of death on this show.
