Watch the anime-canon arc (130-157) once. On a re-watch, stick strictly to the manga canon.

With 170 episodes under its belt, Black Clover is surprisingly light on filler compared to other long-running Shonen giants like Naruto or One Piece . However, the filler it does have is placed in some tricky spots.
