You'll encounter classics like Bacteria (the original slapper), Hounds , and Insanities . Each requires different counters: hide, run, or don't look directly at it. Learning these through trial and error (and screams) is half the fun.

Genuine Atmospheric Tension The sound design is the real MVP. The constant hum of lights, distant footsteps that aren't yours, and sudden static bursts will have you whispering in Discord. Once you learn entity patterns and item spawn logic, runs become formulaic. The procedural generation is light – you'll recognize room layouts quickly. You can play solo, but don't. Together, you split up to cover more ground, share flashlights, and warn each other about entities.
