Fear Allah, O servants of Allah. Know that this world is a temporary provision, but the Hereafter is the eternal home. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Two blessings which many people waste: health and free time.” Be content and grateful, not neglectful and regretful.
Transliteration (First Khutbah opening & selected lines) Al-ḥamdu lillāh, naḥmaduhu wa nasta‘īnuhu wa nastaghfiruh, wa na‘ūdhu billāhi min shurūri anfusinā wa min sayyi’āti a‘mālinā. Man yahdihillāhu falā muḍilla lah, wa man yuḍlil falā hādiya lah. Wa ashhadu an lā ilāha illā-llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, wa ashhadu anna Muḥammadan ‘abduhu wa rasūluh. arabic khutbah for jummah
Send prayers upon your Prophet, for Allah commands: “Indeed Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe, send blessings upon him and greet him with peace.” (Qur’an 33:56) Fear Allah, O servants of Allah

Then the khaṭīb makes du‘ā’ for the Muslims, for strength of Islam, and for forgiveness, ending with: Indeed Allah commands justice, good conduct, and giving to relatives, and forbids immorality, bad conduct, and oppression. He admonishes you that you may take heed. So remember Allah, He will remember you. Be grateful to Him, and He will increase you. And the remembrance of Allah is greatest, and Allah knows what you do. May this khutbah be of benefit. It follows the authentic Prophetic structure and addresses a timeless theme—reminding believers to use their time before it is gone. O you who believe, fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him]. O mankind, fear your Lord who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and spread from them many men and women. And fear Allah through whom you ask one another, and [fear severing] family ties. Indeed Allah is ever watchful over you.
